Dr. Anshu Priya
Dr. Anshu Priya obtained her doctorate degree from PGIMER, Chandigarh. During Ph.D. degree, she explored her scientific career in the area of host-pathogen interaction and established the molecular mechanism of pathogenesis using different techniques like Real-Time PCR, Western blotting, and Flow cytometry, animal cell culture. She qualified the various national-levelcompetitive examinations like ICMR-JRF, DBT-JRF CSIR-JRF, UGC-NET, & GATE. During her Post-Doctoral training atthe Department of Molecular Biology, Umea University, Sweden, she was actively involved in the analysis of the genome-wide localization of DNA repair proteins during somatic hypermutation and class switch recombination of antibody genes using ChIP-sequencing. Subsequently, she joined the Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratory, Jharkhand where she examined and solved a large number of cases related to forensic biology, serology, and DNA Fingerprintinglinked to paternity/maternity, murder, sexual assault case, and identification of unidentified humans.
She has joined the forensic fingerprinting lab,Centre for Advanced Research as an Assistant Professor in September 2021 and going to explore her previous forensic extensive experiences in medicine by introducingsome STR based genotyping for the screening of various genetic diseases.
