The world today is grappling with a novel Coronavirus called nCoV-19. Originating in China where it created a havoc, the virus has already attacked several countries of the world including Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Japan, Iran, Oman, Italy and this list is increasing on a daily basis. The virus has also attacked India. As a measure of preparedness, the Department of Microbiology at King George’s Medical University, which is also the nodal center for corona virus testing for the states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, is organizing a series of lectures that will provide critical information on do’s and don’ts related to nCoV-19 in India. We invite the faculty members, residents, and other healthcare workers to attend this lecture series and be geared up for a fight against the virus.
