Department is imparting 680 hours of undergraduate teaching to 250 MBBS and 275 hours of teaching for 100 BDS students through lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, seminars, problem based learning, dissection, demonstration of prosected parts, histology & ultrasound lab. The department has also organized Post Graduate teaching in form of 90 lectures and 40 seminars for MD anatomy students, and nearly 50hours for other graduate and post graduate courses like M Phil Clinical Psychiatry, Paramedical sciences and Nursing.

Addition of new facilities for teaching:
In the section of Cross Sectional anatomy about 72 large, normal and 3D CT images on plates, labeled in detail are displayed in the Dissection Hall for educational use of the undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Histology and Radiological Anatomy teaching through CD on LCD projector.
MRI plates 112 in no. are displayed in MRI gallery for study purpose.
