Faculty of Medical Sciences > Molecular Biology(CFAR) > Alumni
Department of Molecular Biology, a unit of CFAR has been established with the aim
to provide expertise in new cutting edge technologies like microarray and sequencing
to develop as state reference molecular diagnostic laboratory
to molecularly profile the disease in the context of personalized medicine
to provide integrated platform for both basic and clinical-research
to recruit, retain, nurture and develop scientists
Presently, involved in molecular profiling of cancers based on genomics-, transcriptomics- proteomics- and metabolomics. Will soon commence molecular and metabolism based markers for diagnostics of cancer and inborn errors of metabolism.
Currently, it has two full time faculty members, Dr. Neetu Singh as Associate Professor and Dr Ashutosh Shrivastava as Assistant Professor. Professor, Department of Molecular Biology is going to soon join the Department.
